Earnings season was in its second busiest week, with 11 S&P 500 Materials Sector (XLB) companies reporting quarterly results after an already hectic week of earnings.
Quarter-to-date, XLB has fallen 3.2%, while SPY has gained 0.3%.
There are several basic
