The S&P 500 is on track for its worst week since early September as Wall Street continued to digest the market’s post-election run.
The market benchmark is down 1.5% this week, which would be its worst weekly performance since Sept. 6, according to Dow Jones Market Data. The Nasdaq Composite is down 2.3%, which is also its worst week since Sept. 6. The Dow is faring a touch better, down 426 points, or 1%.
Frank Cappelleri, founder of technical analysis firm CappThesis, writes that as of Tuesday, charts suggested the market was due for a pause.
