Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.3% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:01AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Oberoi Realty(up 1.5 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.27 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Brigade Enterprises(down 1.83 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.46 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.33 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.63 per cent) and Sunteck Realty(down 0.57 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.3 per cent at 410.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 9.4 points at 17862.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 14.07 points at 60677.86.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., , YES Bank, and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of

, , , and Sky Gold hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while , Piramal Pharma Ltd., , Adani Gas and Zee Learn hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
